Architects, designers and planners

When a client needs help finding a builder, invite them to submit their project brief. Tell us your role and how you would like to remain involved. Existing professional relationships and the design team's responsibilities remain with the client and their advisers.

Builders with overflow enquiries

Booked out, outside your service area, or the wrong project size? Share this page with the homeowner so they can decide whether to enquire. A referral does not commit you to taking the job or joining the builder network.

One useful brief

Ask the homeowner to gather their suburb, project type, indicative budget, plans or approval stage and preferred start. If something is uncertain, say so. An enquiry is assessed before any matching or introduction takes place.

Permission comes first

The simplest option is for the homeowner to contact us directly. Before sharing anyone else's contact details or plans, obtain their permission. Please do not email private project documents with an initial partnership enquiry.

How to refer

  1. Ask whether the homeowner would like help exploring suitable builders.
  2. Send them our project enquiry form and ask them to mention your business in their project description.
  3. PBC reviews the brief and confirms the next step. Any builder introduction depends on suitability, availability and the required permissions.

Clear fees and expectations

The matching service is free for homeowners. PBC may receive a success fee from the participating builder if an introduction results in a building contract. Applicable builder terms are discussed and agreed before an introduction. No referral payment to a professional or referring builder is promised by this page.

We do not guarantee a builder, a quote, a start date or a construction outcome. Each party remains responsible for its own checks, advice and contracts.
