1. Acceptance
These terms apply when you use this website, submit a homeowner project brief or apply to the builder network. By using the service or accepting the terms in a form, you agree to these terms. If you submit information for a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
2. What Premier Build Connect does
We collect and assess information from homeowners and builders and may facilitate an introduction where we believe there may be a sensible fit. We decide whether, when and to whom an introduction is offered. Submission does not guarantee acceptance, an introduction, a quotation, a contract or a particular outcome.
3. What we do not do
Premier Build Connect does not perform residential building work and does not provide architectural, engineering, planning, certification, financial, credit, insurance, tax or legal advice. We do not negotiate or enter the building contract as agent for either party unless a separate written agreement expressly says so.
4. Homeowner responsibilities
A homeowner remains responsible for:
- ensuring project information is accurate and current;
- independently checking builder licensing, insurance, references, solvency, experience, availability and suitability;
- obtaining independent professional and legal advice;
- reviewing all quotations, allowances, exclusions, timeframes and contract terms; and
- making the final choice of builder and contract.
5. Builder responsibilities and commercial terms
A builder applicant must provide accurate business, licence, insurance, reference and capacity information and promptly notify us if it changes. Network participation and client introductions require separate written commercial terms, which may include referral fees, payment triggers, disclosure, reporting and non-circumvention obligations.
A builder must hold every licence, registration and insurance required for the work they offer and comply with all laws, professional obligations and contract duties. Applying to the network does not create exclusivity or an entitlement to leads.
Participating builders pay PBC fees under the written commercial terms applicable to an introduction. The applicable fees, payment triggers and payment terms are agreed in writing before any client introduction. The commercial terms recorded for an introduction remain fixed for that introduction and are not changed by a later update to PBC's standard terms.
6. Referral fee disclosure
Premier Build Connect may receive a referral fee, commission or other financial incentive from a participating builder when an introduction results in a building contract. We take reasonable steps to make the homeowner aware of the existence of that arrangement before acting on the referral. The matching service is free for homeowners.
7. No endorsement or guarantee
Checking licence, insurance, references or other information is a screening step, not a warranty or endorsement. Information can change and third-party records can be incomplete. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee the quality, price, solvency, conduct, availability, workmanship or performance of a homeowner, builder, consultant or project.
8. Project-owner information and consent
You must not submit information you do not have the right to provide or use the service unlawfully. We handle personal information under our privacy policy. Where you consent to a proposed introduction, you authorise us to share relevant information with the selected recipient for that purpose.
PBC may first share a de-identified project brief to assess builder suitability and availability. Identifiable contact, location and project documents are shared only with selected builders for the assessment or introduction you have authorised. You may withdraw consent before that sharing occurs by contacting PBC.
9. Website availability and intellectual property
We may change, suspend or withdraw parts of the website. Content is general information and may not remain complete or current. Unless otherwise stated, the website design, copy, brand and original content belong to Premier Build Connect and may not be reproduced commercially without permission.
10. Liability and Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to those rights, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, financing outcomes, project delay, defects, disputes or acts or omissions of third parties arising from use of the service or an introduction.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The parties submit to the courts of New South Wales and courts entitled to hear appeals from them.
12. Builder directory and Directory Plus
Unclaimed listings contain basic business information recorded from public sources. These listings are not supplied or approved by the business owner, do not indicate participation in the PBC network, and are not a recommendation or assessment of licensing, insurance, quality or availability. Information should be independently checked before relying on it. Business owners can request corrections or removal by contacting PBC, or apply to claim their listing. Claiming requires a separate review of authority before owner-supplied information is published.
Directory terms version: pbc-directory-plus-introductions-v3. The directory is operated by Premier Build Connect Pty Ltd, ABN 64 702 971 524. A Basic business profile is free and includes business information, branding and self-service edits. Publication requires your permission and a review of your authority to represent the business. An ownership review is not a licence, insurance or quality endorsement, and does not approve a builder for PBC introductions.
Both Basic and Plus profiles let homeowners open PBC’s project intake with a named preferred business. A submitted request is an expression of preference, not a match, completed introduction or fee trigger. It does not itself authorise disclosure of homeowner contact details to the business. Any PBC introduction remains subject to suitability review, the applicable signed agreement and project terms, and the homeowner’s permission to share details. A directory subscription does not bypass project-intake or introduction launch controls.
Directory Plus is optional. The standard monthly price is A$24 plus 10% GST (A$26.40 total). It includes the Basic features and adds custom brand colours on your business profile, a public showcase of up to six project images and descriptions, builder-reported availability, and rolling 30-day counts of recorded profile views and PBC introduction requests naming the business. It does not include new direct enquiry forms, a new homeowner-contact inbox or public business contact and outbound website links. Business phone, email, website and external project references supplied in your account are private information for PBC. Public photos must be uploaded to PBC. You must own or have permission to publish the business information, photos and project material you supply. Keep information current and do not imply approvals or qualifications you do not hold.
No subscription starts when you create a free profile. After ownership approval, you can choose Plus and accept the specific offer, price and recurring terms in secure checkout. The founding offer is limited to the first 100 approved businesses starting their first Directory Plus subscription: A$1 plus GST (A$1.10 total) for the first month, then A$24 plus GST (A$26.40 total) per month. Eligibility and availability are confirmed when checkout is prepared; submitting a free claim does not reserve a place. An existing or previous subscription does not qualify for another introductory month. If the founding offer is no longer available, we will not silently change your purchase to the standard price; you must review and accept that offer separately. Your first payment is taken at checkout, and the subscription automatically renews monthly until you cancel future renewals. Payment confirmation is verified through the payment provider; a return page alone does not activate Plus. If payments are unavailable, no new subscription can start.
For founding subscriptions, the A$24 before-GST monthly rate is protected for the first 12 months from the subscription start. This is a price-protection period, not a minimum subscription term: you can cancel future monthly renewals at any time. Cancelling and later starting another subscription does not restart the introductory discount or protection period. Any later price change will be explained before it takes effect, and you can cancel future renewals. No future price increase is scheduled by accepting these terms. Existing subscriptions retain their separately accepted terms; a later public offer does not rewrite those terms.
You can cancel future renewals through Manage billing in your directory account. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and your account shows the relevant date. After paid access ends, an approved published profile can remain on Basic with its PBC introduction request option; the paid public project showcase, custom public brand colours, reported availability and activity report end. Your saved colour choices remain in your account; your public profile returns to the standard colours while Plus is inactive. Historical enquiry records remain available to the account owner. If billing access fails, contact info@premierbuildconnect.com.au from your account email and identify your business so we can resolve the cancellation.
Directory Plus does not guarantee traffic, enquiries, leads, quotations, contracts or revenue. Minimal public profile-view activity is recorded automatically and can include repeat visits; recorded views are not an audit of unique people. Introduction-request counts reflect submitted PBC project forms naming your business, not qualified leads or completed introductions. New homeowner contact and project details remain in PBC’s private intake process. Any historical enquiries previously provided to your business remain a private archive for the original enquiry purpose; new requests do not enter that archive.
Directory subscriptions do not buy priority in PBC’s project recommendations and do not waive or replace applicable agreed PBC introduction or success fees. Any fee and its trigger remain governed by the applicable signed agreement and project terms; a directory request alone does not create a fee. We will explain prospective material changes to the paid offer before they take effect and provide a way to cancel future renewals. For billing errors, service problems or refund requests, contact us so we can review the circumstances. Nothing here excludes applicable Australian Consumer Law rights, including rights to a remedy for a service failure.
